About Me

My name is Teagan MacAodhagáin, I grew up in rural Roscommon and now live by the sea in Donabate with my family. I love sea-swimming, being on the water, and in nature.

I have spent over 15 years working in healthcare leadership. I’ve had the privilege of guiding teams, opening new services, navigating regulatory frameworks, and supporting people through some of the most important and personal moments in life. Whether I’m working as a consultant, celebrant, executive coach, or care leader, I bring the same focus: compassion, clarity, and real-world expertise.

I’m a registered nurse by background, with postgraduate qualifications in health sciences, counselling, theology, and executive coaching. My professional journey has taken me from clinical development roles to Director of Nursing positions, where I’ve led multidisciplinary teams, built services from the ground up, and delivered strong outcomes under HIQA regulation. I’ve also worked across multiple sites, providing support in areas like clinical governance, quality improvement, complaints handling, policy development, and staff training.

Over time, I’ve come to realise that my strengths lie not just in leadership, but in helping others lead. Whether I’m mentoring a new manager, guiding an organisation through change, or crafting a bespoke ceremony to mark life’s milestones, I bring empathy, structure, and a deep respect for the people I serve.

Tranquil Tides is a reflection of everything I believe in—integrity, purpose, and the power of presence. I’m here to support individuals, teams, and organisations with professionalism, warmth, and a grounded, human-centred approach.
